Education

  • Currently studying MSc Computer Science by Research (focus: parallelism in game engines).
  • Attended University of Lincoln (2006-2009) and received a First-Class Honours BSc in Games Computing.
  • Attended Trinity High School and achieved 5 A-Levels.

Notable Achievements

  • Awarded Faculty Prize for Outstanding Achievement in the Department of Computing and Informatics in recognition of academic achievement at the University of Lincoln.
  • Awarded The British Computer Society Prize (University of Lincoln) for Highest Mark on Final Year Project involving a Substantive Software Implementation for undergraduate dissertation grade.

Relevant Experience

I am now working as a freelance developer for the iOS platform (October 2010 – present):

  • Providing a design and development service of iOS applications.
  • Developing applications to client’s specification/requirements.
  • Working individually on a part-time basis.
  • My current client is Blueprint: Film.

I helped out as co-producer (non-paid) for Rogue Pirate Ninja Interactive, LLC (September 2009 – October 2010):

  • Involved in all aspects of design and production of ‘Tower Assault: Curse of Zombie Island’.
  • Contributed to marketing and online recruitment of new team members.
  • Performed many other miscellaneous roles.

Game Design workshop demonstrator for University of Lincoln (September 2009 – August 2010):

  • Helping students work through the unit and complete their Game Design assignments.
  • Level editing and mod development using Source SDK and Hammer World Editor.

I worked as a paid contracted developer for Rogue Pirate Ninja Interactive, LLC (May 2009 – September 2009):

  • Working with existing game engine codebase.
  • Using relevant software such as Subversion (SVN), Xcode IDE and associated debugging tools.
  • Working with other developers to complete 3D puzzle title ‘iRis’ for the iPhone OS platform.
